NORMAND'S ERA

from 1957 to 1996

In 1957, Évariste Laflamme joined forces with Paul Normand. They take over the management of the company of the fiduciary of 1955. The first ten years of this new administration consist in restoring the confidence of the customers and stabilizing the company. In 1965, Évariste Laflamme sold his shares to a business partner, Paul Gourdeau, which helps to reposition the Prévost product on the international market. In 1969, he retired and sold his shares to two American investors, Thomas Harbison and William G. Campbell. The arrival of American partners is behind the launch of a new line of products: motor homes. At the time of this important restructuring, Paul Normand bequeathed the direction to his son André.
